What Hotel Lobby Video collects, why, who processes it and how long it is kept.

This policy explains how hotellobbyvideo.net ("Hotel Lobby Video", "we") handles personal data.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Your uploads. The photos you add, and any song or reference video you upload, to create your video. Photos are resized in your browser before upload, which also removes embedded location data.
- Your videos. The videos rendered for you, and settings such as length, quality and who is on the left or right.
- Purchase data. Orders, amounts and subscription status. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and request logs, used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
Why we use it
To create and store your videos, run your account and credits, take payments, prevent abuse (for example, keeping the free preview to one per person), answer support requests and keep the service secure.
To keep the free preview to one per person we store a keyed hash of your email address. The hash cannot be turned back into your email address.
Who processes it
- kie.ai and the underlying model provider (MiniMax) receive your photos, any song or reference video, and the rendering instructions, and return the finished video. Their own terms govern how long they keep generation logs and results.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores your uploads and videos (Cloudflare R2). Cloudflare Turnstile may check that a real person is requesting a free preview.
- Supabase hosts our database.
- Google provides sign-in.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Analytics. If we enable website analytics, we use privacy-focused tools and list them on this page.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos, songs and reference clips: deleted 7 days after the render finishes.
- Finished videos: kept in your account until you delete them or delete your account.
- Account data: kept while your account is open.
- Order and payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to 7 years, even after you delete your account.
- Security logs: kept for a limited period for abuse prevention.
Your choices and rights
- Delete any video from My videos. The file is removed from our storage.
- Delete your account from Account settings. We then delete your account, your uploads and your videos, except records we must keep by law.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us to use them.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms and the free preview from abuse. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
The service is not for children under 13, and paid features require you to be an adult. Do not upload photos of minors without a parent or guardian's consent.
