What Hotel Lobby Video collects, why, who processes it and how long it is kept.

This policy explains how hotellobbyvideo.net ("Hotel Lobby Video", "we") handles personal data.
What we collect
- Account data. When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address and profile picture.
- Your uploads. The photos you add, and any song or reference video you upload, to create your video. Photos are resized in your browser before upload, which also removes embedded location data.
- Your videos. The videos rendered for you, and settings such as length, quality and who is on the left or right.
- Purchase data. Orders, amounts and subscription status. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see or store them.
- Support requests. What you write to us in Support, and which of your videos or payments it is about. They are kept until you delete your account.
- Technical data. IP address, browser and request logs, used for security, abuse prevention and debugging.
- Visit data. The pages you open on our site, the site that sent you, your country and whether you use a phone or a computer, tied to a random visitor ID kept in a cookie. We use it to see how people find and use the site.
Why we use it
To create and store your videos, run your account and credits, take payments, prevent abuse, answer support requests and keep the service secure.
Before a video is made, the rap topic you write and your photos are checked for sexual or hateful content, and the finished video is checked again before it is shown.
Who processes it
- Video generation. The provider of the model you pick receives your photos, any song or reference video, and the rendering instructions, and returns the finished video: kie.ai with MiniMax for MiniMax H3, and APIMart with ByteDance for the Seedance models. For Seedance, each photo is first added to APIMart's private asset library, which is required for photos of real people; we delete it from that library as soon as your video is finished. Their own terms govern how long they keep generation logs and results.
- SeeAPI checks your rap topic, your photos and the finished video for sexual or hateful content.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and stores your uploads and videos (Cloudflare R2).
- Supabase hosts our database.
- Google provides sign-in.
- Stripe processes payments.
- Plausible Analytics counts page views and sign-up and purchase steps without cookies.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your photos or videos to train AI models.
How long we keep it
- Uploaded photos, songs and reference clips: deleted 7 days after the render finishes.
- Finished videos: kept in your account until you delete them or delete your account.
- Account data: kept while your account is open.
- Order and payment records: kept as long as tax and accounting law requires, up to 7 years, even after you delete your account.
- Security logs: kept for a limited period for abuse prevention.
Your choices and rights
- Delete any video from My videos. The file is removed from our storage.
- Delete your account from Account settings. We then delete your account, your uploads and your videos, except records we must keep by law.
- Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or export your data, and to object to or restrict processing. Email us to use them.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to protect forms from abuse, and one cookie with a random visitor ID for our own visit statistics. We do not use advertising cookies.
Children
The service is not for children under 13, and paid features require you to be an adult. Do not upload photos of minors without a parent or guardian's consent.
